Design
Kristina designs authentically from the heart, inspired by nature, love, and her rich background in fashion, costume design, styling, and illustration. No market analysis or external trend forecasting for this designer. She envisions the possibilities and makes beautiful clothing a reality.
Fabric
We source a combination of vintage,organic, and natural fabrics that are better for the environment. In addition to organic and recycled fabrics, special textile projects support communities and indigenous cultures around the globe. For Spring 2012 we are using wax prints from the Ivory Coast, Organic Fabrics from USA, and a selection of limited edition vintage silks.
Labor
Our local manufacturing processes minimize pollution and support the Los Angeles economy. Also, for special collections we employ artesenatos in Brazil, supporting fair trade and linking women and communities across the globe.
Planet
In keeping with the spirit of connectedness and an awareness of a business’s impact on our planet, KRISTINIT donates 5% of each sale to charities which touch her heart. We love supporting the animals and the rainforest and therefore give to the Pachamama Alliance as well as the Internation Fund for Animal Awareness
