Lately I have been drawn to these photographs from a French fashion magazine from the '80's. There is something very elegant and appealing about the way the lingerie is cut and how beautiful women look in these longer, looser lines. Reminds me of the elegant styles from the 1930's when clothes were dripping with luxury and sensuality. I also love the idea of lingerie as clothing. I've been inspired by vintage lingerie for my collections in the past and you will be seeing more of it for Spring '09. Also, ....check out these vintage Biba image as well. So delectable, I would wear them out in a second.....I just love the striped pyjamas!
